My name is Deva Ramlal and I am a second degree student at The College of New Rochelle. I am looking forward to serving as the Second Vice President of NSANYS for 2010-2011. My goals include increasing student involvement within the NSANYS and to increase participation among schools throughout New York State. I hope to build upon the success of our previous conventions by working together with the rest of the board to recruit more vendors, acquire engaging speakers, and establishing motivating workshops. I would also like to utilize our website to its fullest potential to provide additional resources to all nursing students and graduates. The future of nursing lies with all of us and I am looking forward to a great year with the NSANYS!

Hello, my name is Candius Diallo. I currently attend College of New Rochelle and I'm expected to graduate May, 2011. I plan to attend graduate school Fall of 2011, attaining my MA in healthcare administration. I then plan to continue on and become a nurse anesthetist. My goals for NSANYS 2010-2011 are many but, the one I'm most concerned with is to: increase legislative activity through education of healthcare laws, bills and policies concerning nurses. It has been and will continue to be my belief that, if we as student nurses stay involved and informed then "Together, We Can All Be Nurses."
